On Saturday November 9, 2019, the Saint Hubert Mass was held in Kladruby, at the monastery Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and officiated by Miroslav Martiš of the Roman Catholic parish of Pilsen.

On Saturday, June 15th, the 19th annual Ride of Saša Kolowrat took place in the town of Přimda. The Ride was also organized as a memorial to František Tomáš Count Kolowrat-Krakowský, who founded the tradition of the Ride in 2001.

On Friday, November 16, 2018, employees of the Kolowrat Forests organized the 7th year of the gamekeeper’s benefit ball at Přimda. The evening was ceremonially kicked off by the sharpshooters of Stříbro, by a shooting off of historical weapons and followed the performance of a sabrage for everyone present, an unconventional way of opening a bottle of champagne using saber. The Trumpeters of the Kolowrat forests provided entertainment throughout the ball by playing the French horns, and also performing game hunting compositions, fanfares and signals.

On November 3, 2018, the Saint Hubert Mass was held in Kladruby, on the premises of the monastery church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, officiated by Miroslav Martiš from the Pilsen Roman Catholic parish. The Parson blessed hunters, forests, animals, and all of nature. For the blessing, the huntsmen laid a slain buck in front of the altar.

On September 26, 2018, the City Council of Tachov approved Regulation No. 1/2018 prohibiting entry into the forest in the LHC Kolowrat Forest, in the Diana forest district.

The prohibition of entry is announced for the sake of protecting the health and safety of the public, after a wind calamity caused damage to the forest. The ban on entering the forest will be in force until the end of 2018.

On Saturday, 16^th June 2018, the 18^th international old-timer parade of Saša Kolowrat was organized in Přimda. The event takes place annually to honour the automobile and motorcycle racer, aviator, film producer, cinematographer, director, and a leader of the Austrian filmmaking Alexander Joseph Count Krakowský of Kolowrat.

On the last Friday of November, the staff of Kolowratovy lesy, a. s., held the popular, 6th annual, Gamekeeper’s Benefit Ball. The Trumpeters of the Kolowrat Forests opened the evening with a gala fanfare, followed with opening speeches by JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská and Head of Administration of Kolowratovy lesy, a. s., Vladimír Šístek.

On 4^th November 2017, a Saint-Hubert mass was organized in the Church of the Assumption of Virgin Mary in Kladruby. It was led by pater Václav Vojtíšek, the pastor of Tachov, and by pater Miroslav Martiš from Pilsen Roman Catholic parish.

The Upper Palatine Forest was recently featured on Czech TV during the 3rd season of a successful documentary series about exceptional places in protected areas of the Czech Republic, directed by Petra Všelichová and hosted by Miroslav Vladyka. For almost 350 years, the house of Kolowrat has been closely connected to the area surrounding the Přimda Castle in the Upper Palatine Forest. Apart from the Nazi and communist eras, the Krakowskýs of Kolowrat have been the proprietors of the Upper Palatine Forest estates and built two Baroque mansions there. Specifically, the Velké Dvorce Castle and the Hunting Lodge Diana.

On Saturday, June 17, 2017, the 17^th annual International Sascha Kolowrat Ride was held. Sascha Kolowrat was an auto and motorcycle racer, aviator, film producer, cinematographer, director and a leading personality in Austrian cinematography.

New equipment for the management of forest nurseries of Kolowratových lesy, a.s. was acquired with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

New farm equipment for the agricultural company of Statek Orlov s.r.o., was acquired with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Kolowratovy lesy, a.s. acquired new equipment for forest property management. The project was financed with the aid of the European Union.

Anyone who has been away for a while and comes back to visit the Diana hunting grange near Rozvadov and the surroundings may find the landscape hard to recognize. Much has changed here since the beginning of the year, an avenue has gone. But this is not a case of vandalism. As advised by Lady Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowsky, the intention is to restore the original appearance of the location and restore the unique landscape complex of the grange and the village, formerly called Dianaberg. In addition to the permanent exhibition on the history of the Škoda and Laurin & Klement companies, we saw an exhibition devoted to the notable Czech Count Alexander “Sascha” Kolowrat-Krakowsky, the early twentieth century pioneer of motor racing. The exhibition, titled ‘Life at speed’ takes place on the occasion of the 130^th anniversary of the birth of the charismatic Count, whose interest ranged from motorcycle and car races to the cinema, and who established the first film studios in the monarchy.

The highland Hotel Kolowrat in Přimda was the venue for the traditional pre-Christmas get-together of Kolowrat forestry employees. They were welcomed by Maximilian Alexander Kolowrat-Krakowsky, along with his mother, JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowsky.

The Kolowrat forests offers exceptional, time limited, hunting packages focused on moufflon hunting in the Diana preserve alongside sika deer hunting and fishing in the beautiful countryside of Český les. Find out more in the Annex.

The Kolowrat forests and Kolowrátek Endowment fund support the bicycle race BIKE ADVENTURE. This unusual race, organized by USK Praha, will be held from July 12^th until 13^th, 2014 in the area of Český les.

The Kolowrat forests will contribute to the program of this year´s Czech Forests Day. This event is linked to the official opening ceremony of the observation tower Havran. In addition to the wonderful view from the observation tower, visitors can look forward to competitions for children and adults, a theatre performance, a performance by Kolowrat forests´trumpeters , snacks and more. On April 1^st, 2014, Kolowrat forests employees visited Silva Regina fair with forestry and hunting theme.

Brno Exhibition grounds hosted 4 interconnected fairs on the same date: Silva Regina, Techagro, Animal Vetex and Biomasa and stunned all people interested with its vastness.

The members of The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund board led by JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská visited Children´s home in Tachov, to hand over St. Nicholas packages full of sweets and to spend a pleasant afternoon with children.

Second annual Hunters´ Ball, organized by The Kolowrat forests employees, took place on Friday, 15^th of November 2013 in the hall of former school in Přimda. The goal was not only to have a good time, but mainly to help a good cause. Takings from ticket sales, raffle tickets and auction of moufflon went through The Kolowrátek Endowment fund to the benefit of Children´s home in Tachov.

On October 11^th, Václavský rybník (Wenceslas pond) was fished out. The species of fish mostly caught were carp, pike, black carp, zander and two catfishes. The carp weighed around four or more kilos. Despite the chilly and rainy weather a large crowd gathered around the pond. Even the kindergarten from Rozvadov made it out to learn about fishing craft. The excited children particularly appreciated the exceptional hustle, whilst the adults tucked into the refreshments, in the form of grilled sausages and hot drinks.

Two representatives of Kolowrat´s forests (the leader of forest management Ing Vladimír Šístek and forester Jan Ryba) participated in an expert forestry excursion to Ukraine, which was arranged by Sdružení vlastníků obecních a soukromých lesů v ČR (Association of Owners of Municipal and Private Forests in the Czech Republic) – further refered to as SVOL - from 25^th until 31^st of August. The week long excursion took place in the Ukrainian Carpathians.

The efforts of the footballers of the Kolowrat Forests were rewarded with success in Kolín on 21^st June 2013. At a friendly football tournament for members of the Association of Municipal and Private Forests of the Czech Republic the team took away the award for 2^nd place.

In May 2013 there were two excursions to explore the forests. Members of the Association of Municipal and Private Forests of the Czech Republic (Regional Association of Vysočina and employees of military forests and farms, the Czech Republic, division of Lipník nad Bečvou) visited us to share their experiences.

The Kolowrat Forests, a.s offers fishing permits for the Mnichovství pond. Carp, pike pike, perch, grass carp, silver carp, eel, tench, trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, chub.

The Kolowrat Woods celebrated the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the forester’s district of the same name. The proceeds of the Hunters ball will be put towards the Endowment fund Kolowratek.
