Nature Reserve Diana
The nature reserve Diana, the size of which is 20,56 hectares, was established by a decree of the Ministry of Education, on 31 December 1933. The natural reserve serves mainly to protect rare species of animals and plants (such as wild arum, ostrich fern, European viper, Alpine newt, etc.). The reserve is located on the northern hillside on a flat topped hill surrounded by the Kateřinský stream, right in the middle of “the Diana part” of the Kolowrat woods, at an altitude of 500 m. The reserve is covered by ancient beech trees that are more than 260 years old
