XVII. Annual Sascha Kolowrat Ride

On Saturday June 17^th, the XVII annual Sascha Kolowrat Ride will be held in Přimd u Tachova. Sascha Kolowrat was an auto and motorcycle racer, aviator, film producer, cinematographer, director and a leading personality in Austrian cinematography.

This year, the ride is also devoted to the memory of older brother Alexander, Jindřich Count Kolowrat– Krakowský, a progressive entrepreneur, diplomat, and anti– fascist crusader who was decorated with the 1939 Czechoslovak War Cross and the Order of T.G. Masaryk, II. Class. Visitors can once again enjoy many historic vehicles and motorbikes that will pass along an almost 100– kilometer route in the vicinity of Tachov.

The Kolowrat– Krakowski family will provide patronage for this event, as is the tradition, and the organizer of the event is the Auto Moto Veteran Club of Český Les in cooperation with Kolowrat's forests, a.s.
