Nature Reserve Přimda
The nature reserve Přimda, the size of which is 33,52 hectares, is located on the lands of the Kolowrat Woods, directly below the ruins of the ancient castle. The eastern part belongs to the property of the town of Přimda. It was created by a decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Czechoslovakia, on 4 July 1956. It serves mainly to protect the mountain beechwood and the characteristic plant association as well as rare and protected species of animals and plants (such as Lilly of the Valley, Herb Paris, European viper, sand lizard, eagle owl, etc.). The top of the Přimda mountain is also quite important with respect to landscape architecture.
