The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund supported a music workshop for children from the Tachov Children’s Home in the surroundings of the Diana chateau, from July 29 – August 1, 2020

In the middle of the summer holidays, the Folklore Bagpipe Choir “Tachovský Kolowrátek” and several children from the children’s home in Tachov spent four days with their teachers in the village of Diana near Rozvadov. They were accommodated in a building belonging to Kolowratovy lesy, a.s. The main purpose of the summer stay was a music workshop, which the children interspersed with trips to the surrounding nature area, swimming and evenings sitting by the fire.

The “highlight of the workshop” was the final concert in the courtyard of the Diana chateau. On a warm Friday evening, on July 31, an audience of about 50 local residents, colleagues and friends of employees of Kolowratovy lesy, a.s., gathered to hear the performance. The long, drawn out, applause and acknowledging smiles on the faces of everyone present expressed the enthusiastic appreciation of the talented members of the Folk Bagpipe Choir led by Mgr. Zdenek Kropáč and Vítězslav Langer for their virtuosity and hard work.
