The Kolowratek Endowment Fund, Saint Nicholas and devil visited Children´s home in Tachov
Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska and the Kolowratek Endowment Fund´s members of the Board visited the Children´s home in Tachov like every year with presents from St. Nicholas. They were very much looking forward to the visit and prepared several surprises for nice girls and boys.
The evening started with the applause of all participants and it started generously: Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska handed over a check for CZK40.000 to Zdenek Kropac, the Director of the Children´s home. The amount will be used to support leisure activities for children and for amenities for children´s rooms.
Children prepared performances in which they showed off their skills. Together with Mr. Director they played and sang Christmas carols. During the evening everybody had a chance to chat during the catering that children from the Children´s home prepared for their dear guests with love. Everyone was talking, they shared their impressions and experiences from the whole year and they were looking forward to the arrival of St. Nicholas and devil… Children welcomed them with bright eyes and of course with a bit if a concern. St. Nicholas had a list of all sinners and just a little would be enough for the devil to take some child to the hell. But he was persuaded. Girls and boys promised to be good and diligent and gift giving could start. Mrs. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska delightedly took over. She was giving presents and St. Nicholas packages to children together with Kolowratek Endowment Fund´s board members, Mrs. Eliska Barthelemy and Mr. Frantisek Vyskocil. Children produced nice handmade Christmas themed gifts for them.
All Kolowratek Endowment Fund´s members of the Board brought one more big gift – a new TV. When they later parted, they promised to see each other soon again.
