Kolowrat Palace – “Global Money Week 2020”

The end of March will once again see Global Money Week taking place in the Czech Republic. This will be the fourth year in a row that the Czech Republic will be participating in this important global project, whose mission is to fight poverty, support financial literacy and promote enlightenment in financial prosperity across generations. 

In the week of March 23 – 29, 2020, events will be happening at various locations throughout the Czech Republic, which will focus on supporting the financial education of children and young adults. Elementary schools, high schools, orphanages, libraries, financial institutions, companies and even the general public will all take part in the project. 

The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund of Maximilian, Francesca and Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowský, was approached by co-founder and director of yourchance o.p.s., Jana Merunková, with an offer of cooperation on the project. Dr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská gladly accepted the invitation and will be supporting the project.

From March 23rd – 25th, 2020, the Kolowrat Palace will thus open its doors to students of elementary schools and high schools. Lectures and workshops for the children will be held in the unique spaces of the Kolowrat Theater. As both ladies stated: “We believe the annual campaign focused on financial awareness will inspire children and young people to educate themselves in this area as well.”
