Kolowratek supports Another Year of the International Music Festival “Young Prague”
The opening concert of the 21st year of the international music festival Young Prague took place on 4th September 2012, in the Main Hall of the Wallenstein Palace. The programme consisted of compositions by the following composers: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bohuslav Martinů and Alexander Glazunov, performed by excellent young soloists: Petra Žďárská (harpsichord), Bartłomiej Duś (alto saxophone) and Honoko Kishimoto (violin), under the baton of Robert Kružík. A performance of the Chamber Orchestra of Pavel Haas was also part of the programme. Mr. Přemysl Sobotka, 1st Vice-President of the Senate, assumed auspices over the Festival. The international music festival Young Prague aims to support young artists starting their careers and to enable them to befriend other young musicians from all over the world. Kolowratek supports the festival Young Prague, as its main mission is also to support talented children and teenagers. The festival Young Prague will continue until 17th September 2012 and will be brought to a close by a concert in Prague’s Rudolfinum.
