Benefit concert in the Church of St. Vavřinec below Prague´s Petřín
The Kolowrat-Krakowský family and The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund is holding a benefit concert in the Church of St. Vavřinec below Prague´s Petřín on Thursday, January 16th. The concert will become a celebration of the fifth anniversary of the afore - mentioned fund, which was established by Maximilian, Francesca and Dominika on February 26th, 2008 on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the birth of Earl František Tomáš and which continues the family tradition of patronage through its charitable activities.
„Yukiko Kinjo, the Japanese opera singer and now the soloist of the National Theatre, will perform at the benefit concert. Visitors can also look forward to an instrumental part of the evening when cellist Jiří Bárta and pianist Norbert Heller will perform the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. Another instrumental performance will be given by violinist Jan Talich with compositions by Antonín Dvořák,“ JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat–Krakowská says.
About one hundred guests are expected to listen to an hour-long concert and they will as well witness the official release of Jiří Bárta and Norbert Heller´s CD. „I am grateful to all artists, none of whom will take a fee. . We will then be able to support the dreams of talented children or to make life easier for the disadvantaged ones through The Kolowrátek Endowment Fund,“ Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská adds.
