On Sunday, September 24, 2017, the final concert of the 26th International Music Festival Young Prague was held at the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum in Prague, with the participation of chairperson of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund board of directors, Mrs. JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowska and Mgr. Eliška Barthelemy, member of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund board.

On Monday, September 18, 2017, as part of the International Music Festival Young Prague and with the support of the Kolowrat-Krakowsky family and patronage of the Kolowrátek Endowment Fund, a classical music concert took place at the Kolowrat Theater. Czech pianist Václav Mácha, Slovak flute player Katarina Slavkovska and German pianist Aris Alexander Blettenberg performed classical music masterpieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Jacques Iber and Theobald Boehm.

The Upper Palatine Forest was recently featured on Czech TV during the 3rd season of a successful documentary series about exceptional places in protected areas of the Czech Republic, directed by Petra Všelichová and hosted by Miroslav Vladyka. For almost 350 years, the house of Kolowrat has been closely connected to the area surrounding the Přimda Castle in the Upper Palatine Forest. Apart from the Nazi and communist eras, the Krakowskýs of Kolowrat have been the proprietors of the Upper Palatine Forest estates and built two Baroque mansions there. Specifically, the Velké Dvorce Castle and the Hunting Lodge Diana.

30. November 2016 saw the gala opening night of a unique exhibition called ‘To the Movies! 2’ with the tagline ‘on the move’. An exhibition whose overall conception surpasses old-fashioned stereotypes and pushes the boundaries of this type of art a little further out. Visitors were able to try out all the exhibits for themselves and thus get immersed in the magical world of cinema. Invited guests from among the representatives of the cultural sphere, exhibition partners, the media and friends of film had the unparalleled opportunity to try out the newly installed exhibits during the gala evening. Among the guests were e.g. the Dean of the Arts Faculty of Charles University, assistant professor Mirjam Friedová, Ph.D., the film director Helena Třeštíková or the scenographer and animator Jiří Kubíček, co-founder of Prague’s FAMU film academy.

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of the movie mogul and automobile racer Alexander “Sascha”, Count Kolowrat-Krakowsky, the Kolowrat-Krakowsky Family hosted a screening of three silent movies with live musical accompaniment. This met with great acclaim from the audience.
