The Kolowrat Equestrian Club has a new trainer
David Fialka is the new trainer of the Kolowrat Equestrian Club from the begining of 2013 season. „Since the end of 2012 we have been discussing new concepts of preparation for next season. We plan to participate in more events abroad which means greater demands on organization. And also, the training of horses requires daily work. In the end, we decided to hire a full time trainer,“ revealed the chair of the club, JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská.
The main criteria for selection was experience in leading junior category riders and participation at international events. „Finally we reached agreement with David Fialka, who meets all the requirements. He is a very good rider and has had outstanding achievements in international competitions with young horses,“ stated JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská.
David Fialka started his co-operation with the Kolowrat Equestrian Club accompanying Francesca Kolowrat Krakovská to Spain to an international event held in the Equestrian Center Oliva Nova in Valencia. Their participation was a very successful. Francesca competed with her horses in the Bronze Tour. She performed the best with Zuliantha Fortuna. They achieved a great second place in the course up to 125 cm. She finished in the top positions on the same level with Tarola D as well and in the lower level competitions she reached decorated positions with Calista-T and Calivado. David Fialka competed on our horse Ugue du Paddock at this event and performed very well as well. For example, he placed 9th in the Silver Tour with obstacles of 120 cm height.
„We are very satisfied with the existing co-operation and we believe that initiating this co-operation was the right thing to do for both parties. As for Canon, who was previously ridden by Francesca´s former trainer Martin Šoupal, we haven’t yet made a decision on who will compete with him. We have just recently brought him from Martin Šoupal´s stables and so far Francesca has ridden him for only a couple of training lessons. Only time will tell how it will develop,“ JUDr. Dominika Kolowrat-Krakowská added.
