Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowska Was Very Successful in Eibrechsdorf
The CSN Show Jumping competition consisted of levels from 85 to 140 cm. The Czech team decided not to participate in the highest competition level (135 cm) on Friday, but they did participate on Saturday and Sunday, Martin Šoupal, Jiří Hruška and Marek Klus participating.
The most successful rider from the Czech team was Jiří Hruška and his horse Espri 2. He had a clear first round in the Sunday Grand Prix (140cm) and his horse was in a very good condition too. However, the duo made a mistake in the jump-off and ended up in 8th position.
On Friday, however, the same duo finished in a better position in the speed derby (130 cm), in which they came second. They performed wonderfully on Saturday (135 cm), when they ended up in 6th place. Even better was Marek Klus and his horse Green´s Naome. He was flawless with both his horses and was incredibly happy with his results.
Marek Klus also rode two horses in the Grand Prix. Sadly, he wasn’t able to repeat Saturday’s perfect results with either of them. He performed better with Gwen, however - they knocked down a rail at the fourth jump and the second double jump (B). The ride didn’t go well for Martin Šoupal either. He started well with Canon, but they knocked over two poles at the end of their ride and received penalties for not completing within the set time.
On the other hand Francesca Kolowrat-Krakowska did brilliantly. She rode several different horses and scored in almost every competition. The best results came on Sunday, when she won the competition level for 125 cm (LM). She battled her way up the jump-off with her horse Ugue the Paddock and won with the best time achieved.
The second Czech victory came from Rudolf Doležal and his mare Taveta HS. The duo won in Saturday’s competition level for 125 cm (LM). They performed admirably the other days too, coming second on Friday (120 cm) and third on Sunday.
